He graduated from Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine in 1978. Later that same year, he opened a family dental practice in Loveland, Ohio.
The original goal for the practice was to care for the dental needs of his patients, their families and friends. Over his years in practice, the patients' experience within the office with Dr Tollefson and staff is of utmost importance. Warmth, honesty and professionalism are paramount to, not only satisfying , but exceeding the patients' expectations.
Dr Tollefson continues to be a student of dentistry to benefit his "dental family" by attending numerous hours of continuing education. He recently was recognized by the University of Minnesota with a "Postgraduate Certificate in Contemporary Restorative and Esthetic Dentistry". His interest in dentistry has led to intense study in dental implants, cosmetic dentistry and sleep apnea treatment. All of these varied interests are an example of Dr Tollefson and staff listening to the questions and concerns of their patients.
Dentistry for Dr Tollefson is not a goal to reach, but it is a step to improve the lives of his patients. He would be honored to have you as a patient.
Comfort to our patients is very important to Dr. Tollefson and our staff. We offer headphones and viewing screens in each operatory, pillows, blankets, DVDs and CD's.
